Tiffen Hot MirrorSome digital still cameras can have increased sensitivity to infrared light that may cause color rendition problems. The Tiffen standard Hot Mirror is designed to remedy this problem by reflecting most infrared light. - This is the reverse of the Infrared filter - the Hot Mirrror reflects IR and allows visible wavelengths to pass.
- Also used with Ultraviolet photography to eliminate IR - used inconjuction with a UV pass filter.
