HD-5050PRO High Definition 0.5X Wideangle Conversion Lens The model HD-5050PRO Super Wideangle conversion lens is designed to broaden the angle of view, including 100% more area in the picture, when attached to the lens of HDR-HC1 High Vision camcorder and other camcorders. It is compatible with the whole zoom area and stays in focus. The HD-5050PRO is made of the high-index optical glass elements with new concept of lens designing using three-group/four-element lens formula. This new concept in designing the lens made it possible to achieve an amazing high definition wideangle lens of the 600 lines/mm resolution power at center (MTF30%).
Effective zooming without vignetting : Full(1X-10X) zoom 16:9 mode max. Wideangle : No vignetting in (under scanning) mode and still image mode 4:3 mode max.
Wideangle : No vignetting in (under scanning) mode it shows vignetting(darkening corners of image) in 4:3 still mode
