The Manfrotto 438 Levelling Head provides a quick means of leveling. It fits between your tripod and existing head and can provide 10 degrees of adjustment. It is ideal for QTVR work and for taking panoramas and also for video work using a tripod without a ball leveller. The lever lock on the 438 is not as convenient to operate/lock as the knob used on the Acratech Leveling Head. For QTVR work using the 303 or 303PLUS the 338 leveller is recommended. The 338 is slower to use but very accurate.
