There are several components to a wireless Microphone setup for your video camera:
The Microphone: Mics can be handheld (30HT) which have a built-in transmitter. They can also be a small lavalier clip-on mic which plugs into a transmitter worn on the belt or in a pocket (30BT).
For professional mics with an XLR connector a simple transmitter can be plugged in to turn it into a wireless mic (30XT). The Receiver is attached to the camera - usually mounting on the accessory shoe. On-Camera receivers are available in dual (capable of receiving from 2 different mics) and single. They are also classified by the number of different channels (either 240 or 63) that the mics can be set to to avoid interference. - 320UPR - 240 Channel Dual
- 300UPR - 240 Channel Single
- 200UPR - 63 Channel Dual
- 100UPR - 63 Channel Single
