Gitzo launches two new Aluminum tripods that feature the latest technologies and innovations of the top of the range 6X carbon fiber models for a faster, lighter and more stable support. A key innovation is the use of Gitzo latest aluminum tube 1.2mm wall thick, 30% lighter than its predecessor, with Anti Leg Rotation system (ALR) and brushed matt black finish for improved locking performance and minimised reflectivity. Thanks to ALR, Aluminum Systematic tripods are now as fast to operate as the 6X carbon fiber versions. The other key improvement is the introduction of the exclusive G-Lock system that allows for a stronger locking and increases rigidity by 20%. Besides Gitzo new aluminum tubing, Anti Leg Rotation and the G-Lock system, the new Aluminum tripods feature two convenient leg warmers, safe lock removable rubber feet to avoid accidental loss, the Ground Level Set and the new Power Disc. The Ground Level Set allows to remove the center column and to secure the upper disc directly on the casting, saving weight, increasing stability and getting closer to the ground. Power Disc is a machined aluminum upper disc that improves the connection of the head by means of a locking screw and Gitzo Safe Lock techno polymer disc. The new Aluminum tripods are available in two heights: four section eye level height and three section standard height. All new Aluminum tripods come with a smart Gitzo display cleaner and a convenient anti dust bag for storage and packing.

	The new Soulid 238 technologically advanced top casting and basalt center column allow an impressive weight reduction and increase the vibration damping performance of the tripod.
The new Soulid 238® top casting has a spring operated leg angle control button. When folding up the legs, you no longer need to manually operate the angle control button, so tripod closing is made a little quicker and easier.	Leg warmers are made of a new material which, besides a 50% weight reduction, gives us the possibility to design these components to be more ergonomic.	The leg warmers’ special variable diameter profile maximises comfort when the tripod is carried on the shoulder or when you rest your hands on the tripod upper leg during use.
